The Overall Plan
First of all, let me clearly define the terms "Business
Growth Plan," and "Beginners."
For our purposes, let's consider a "Beginner" as someone who has never made much money in Internet marketing. It has nothing to do with TIME; it is only related to RESULTS. The person who makes their first jump into Internet marketing is no farther behind than someone who has been at it for months or years and still has not made the money they were hoping for. As a completely arbitrary number, consider yourself a beginner if you are making less than $1000 a month.
Consider a business growth plan to be a map of sorts, a path to get you from where you are to where you want to go.
However, when you need a map, ANY map won't do. You can't use a map of Poland to get you from Denver to Chattanooga. You can't use a map of the Mall of America to get you to the right gate at JFK airport. You can't use a map of the stars to get you to Successville.
If the Internet were like Montana, it would be easier to find your way around. A couple of simple instructions can get you in the general area of most any place. For instance, my instructions to the nearest Walmart would be "Head east to the stop sign and then take a right. It will be on the left."
Oh, and did I mention that the trip is also over 120 miles?
The Internet is more like being blindfolded, and then dropped off in the middle of L.A. and told to find "Joe's." You would have two major problems here. First, you don't know for sure where you are, and second, you don't have a clue where you are going.
Someone hands you a map of L.A., and a phone book. You look at the street signs and find out where you are. You look in the phone book and find 500 businesses that could be "Joe's." You pick one at random, and make your way to it. When you get there, you find out that it's not what you were really looking for. You get frustrated, throw the map on the ground, and make your way back home.
The most ironic thing about this scenario is that if it were finding one's way around Internet marketing, most people would go home and start blaming the map maker, or Joe, or even the person who handed them the phone book.

REALITY CHECK
Here are some basic "truths" about Internet marketing. I use the word "truths" not as an absolute, but as the most accurate word I have. You can probably find an exception to each of these if you try long enough and hard enough, but your surest way to success is to accept that they represent the realities of the business.
1. You will have to spend some time. I think it's almost funny how many people believe that the Internet somehow rewards people for visiting it once or twice, but never providing anything valuable to anyone.
You are not going to make $100k a year on the Internet without spending some time learning both the knowledge and the skills you need to know. People do not try to make a habit of paying for nothing, and if you want to offer more than nothing, you will need to invest some time into yourself.
2. You will have to spend some money. It doesn't have to be a lot compared to starting your own brick and mortar business, but you have to spend SOME.
In order for there to be money to pass around, the business you choose will have to have some kind of entry cost, and perhaps a monthly fee on top of that. I am aware of the hundreds of "join for free and no cost ever" programs out there, but think about that. If no one ever pays anything, where does the money come from to pay you? The reality of most of these businesses is that they are a way for the creator to build a massive list of his own.
Besides having no money to pass around, they have another serious drawback in that they attract people who are looking for "free," and "free" doesn't generate much persistence or loyalty.
3. You will have to make yourself valuable. For any business you choose, there will be others who choose the same business. Yet, some people will become gigantically successful, and others will not make a penny. The single reason for this is VALUE.
The reality here is that most people now don't just look for a business, they look for someone who can show them how to be successful at it. "XYZ Company" might be the best business with the best products and best pay plan. I might take a look at it and decide to join. Would I be better off choosing my sponsor by throwing a dart at a board, or by seeking out someone who is already successful and who can show me the way?
I want someone who can provide me some value, and so do you. If they are going to get paid either up front or periodically for my efforts, I want someone who can earn it. I want VALUE for the money I am paying them.

4. You will need some tools. There is not a single business I know of that
a person can build with no tools.
Whether it' a computer, a cell phone, a dump truck or a chainsaw,
people need tools.
You would never find a home builder who tried to run his business without a tape measure, a pencil, a hammer, a saw, etc., because they couldn't really be taken seriously if they didn't at least have the basic tools.
Yet, literally millions of people try to build an Internet business without any tools. No capture page of their own, no autoresponder, no software to automate some time consuming tasks, and no video camera. You need some tools.
5. You will need a comprehensive and cohesive plan. Even if you do all of the first four, you still need an overall plan, a game plan of sorts.
You have to understand that you are competing with some very smart, motivated, and organized people for the Internet marketing business. If everything else is equal-- time, money, value, tools-- the person with the best plan wins, and in this business, the score isn't generally something like 51-49. It's more like 95-5.
The person with the best plan wins. Period.

3. Purchase Tube
Blaster Pro. It costs $30. I run it constantly in the background, and it
finds 50-100 youtube friends and followers a day for me. It is one of the affiliate programs in the
Mastermind System, and pays $15 per sale, so with two sales, you are even.
4. Purchase Twitter Friend Adder. The cost is $50, and it is also one of the Mastermind System affiliate programs. It adds anywhere from 150-300 Twitter followers a day on autopilot, and pays 50% commission.
5. Now, you have an idea of how to do a capture page, get people to it, use social media to gather contacts, and more. You have the basic skills necessary to be successful at any business. I suggest you take your knowledge and skills and apply them to Zrii. As part of the Hager Marketing Group, we have a business and a system in place where if you apply what you
know, you will make money quickly, and within a few months in great quantities.
6. The Ultimate Goal. A top tier program, defined as programs that cost over $1000 to join, and pay huge commissions, is the ultimate goal of most Internet marketers. The program that bests all others, both in product value and in earning potential, is Lifepath Unlimited. It has entry levels of $1695, $8995, and $14,995, and pays respective immediate commissions of $1000, $5000, and $9000. A single person on a single day can earn you a quick $15,000 in commissions. This group uses the Plan-B-Pros marketing sysetem.

FINAL THOUGHTS
There you have it. Start at the beginning and progress through the steps at your own pace until you have reached your income goals. For some, that might be an extra few hundred bucks a month, and that's great. For others, it might be $10k or $100k a month, and that's great also.
The important thing here is that you start. You can put this away, and act like you never saw it, but the fact is that you DID see it, and it DID give you a game plan that will work for you or anyone else.
It gave you a place to develop your skill, tools to display them, and strategies to get the word out. It funded you as it went along, each step providing the funds for the next, so that you could make more money with less time and effort. It showed you a way to be in the top 3% of all Internet marketers, which is the amount of people actually making money on the Internet.
The one thing it didn't do is try to sway you with a bunch of hype. I don't believe in it, and I don't like it. What it did do is give you enough facts to make a decision.
Do you want to continue struggling, jumping on and off each bandwagon as it comes along, or are you ready to get on a comprehensive, cohesive plan that will get you where you want to go?
It's up to you, and no one else.
